Shot by Shot
The photographers behind this exhibition include some of the most recognized names in wildlife imagery: Michael “Nick” Nichols, Steve Winter, Paul Nicklen, Beverly Joubert, and David Doubilet, among others.

What you’ll notice walking through is how much the technology changed what was possible. Camera traps, remote imaging, and underwater gear opened up angles and moments that no photographer could have captured by simply standing in a field. The images show that shift across decades, from early wildlife portraits to frames that feel almost accidental in how raw they are.

A Good Excuse to Get to Bentonville
If you’ve been putting off a trip to the Momentary, this is the push you needed. The exhibition is free, no reservations required, and Bentonville’s downtown is steps away when you’re done. Pair it with lunch, make an afternoon of it. The exhibit wraps June 7 and won’t travel back through.
