Your Friday Plans Just Got Brighter: Art Trail Night Returns

Crystal Bridges is turning up the wattage this Friday, August 1st, transforming their stunning Art Trail into a neon wonderland that puts your average glow stick rave to shame.

From 8 to 11 p.m., the museum grounds become a playground of light, sound, and creativity where families, couples, and anyone with functioning eyeballs can wander freely through what might be the most Instagram-worthy event of the summer.

Free admission means your biggest expense will be explaining to your friends why you didn’t invite them to this glow-fueled adventure. No tickets, no need to RSVP, no standing in line wondering if you’ll actually get in—just show up and dive into the glowing chaos.

The evening kicks off at the iconic Skyspace, where Cottonwood Drones and Performance by Craig Colourusso sets the tone for the evening. Sugar Creek Astronomical Society brings telescopes for stargazing between the earthbound light shows, because apparently Crystal Bridges believes in giving you both cosmic and terrestrial entertainment.

It’s simple, fun, and just the right way to wind down the week together.

Fuel for the Night

Multiple cash bars scattered throughout the grounds ensure proper hydration (of the adult beverage variety), while food trucks keep the hunger at bay. Shore Lunch joins the culinary lineup, meaning you can actually make a proper meal out of this glowing adventure.

Where to Wander and Wonder

Frank Lloyd Wright Lawn becomes ground zero for dancing with a Silent Disco by Backroom—because nothing says sophisticated museum vibes like wireless headphones and questionable dance moves. The Liquid Light Show by Mad Alchemy adds trippy visuals that would make any 1970s concert jealous.

Twin Bridges offers the perfect blend of whimsy and wonder with StoneLion Puppet Theater Glow Puppets and Glow Glitter Tattoos by Art of FuN. Food trucks stationed here mean you won’t have to choose between sustenance and entertainment.

The South Lawn invites your inner artist to emerge with Glow in the Dark Bandanas crafting and a Glow Store Pop-Up for those who prefer their creativity pre-packaged.
