Tale as Old as Time, Live on Your Doorstep
You’ll see Belle’s story unfold with the full score by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice. The production features classics like “Be Our Guest” and the title track, along with additional songs written specifically for the stage version.

Belle is a book-loving young woman in a small French village who wants more than her quiet life can offer. When her father goes missing in the woods, she finds him imprisoned in an old castle by the Beast, a cursed prince who can only break the spell by learning to love and be loved for who he is inside. Their unlikely friendship might be his only shot at redemption, but time’s running out.

If you’re planning to make it a night out in downtown Fayetteville, there are plenty of spots within walking distance of Walton Arts Center for pre-show dinner or post-show drinks.
A Story That Made History
Disney’s 1991 animated film saved the studio’s animation department and became the first animated movie ever nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. When they adapted it for Broadway in 1994, the stage version won a Tony Award and proved the story worked just as well with live performers.

With 6 days of live performances running throughout the week, you have plenty of chances to catch this production. Grab your tickets and experience the story that’s been captivating audiences for three decades.
