Grandma Moses Sets the Table
The celebration takes its cue from Grandma Moses: A Good Day’s Work, whose paintings celebrate the traditions and beauty of autumn. The activities follow her lead: get creative, take your time, and don’t rush the good part. Fall in the Ozarks already moves at that speed, and now the museum is moving with it.
Want the backstory before you go? The exhibition page covers the show behind the celebration and makes for a good pre-game before you head to Bentonville.

Drop In Daily, Leave With Paint on Your Sleeves
Every day brings drop-in experiences, so you can roll in without a plan and still land in the middle of something. Got a kid with a school break to fill? Here’s what’s waiting:
- Hands-on artmaking: Supplies in your hands, masterpiece optional.
- Scavenger hunts: A reason to look at the art more closely than you would on a regular visit.
- Sensory-friendly spaces: A spot to settle in at your own pace when you need a breather.
- Family-friendly films: For when little legs (or big ones) are ready to sit down for a while.

Local Artists Keep Every Day Different
Local artists and community partners host special activities, and performers join in. The lineup changes throughout the run, so one day won’t look like the next. That’s a pretty good excuse to come back twice. Between activities, wander the galleries or head outdoors and stretch your legs.
