Two Vets, Two Sisters, One Vermont Inn

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas follows two WWII veterans who turn into a hit song-and-dance team. A romance with a pair of singing sisters lands all four of them at a Vermont inn, and the owner turns out to be the guys’ former army commander. Small world, big finale. It’s the kind of holiday story that’s better with the whole crew in your row, so round up the friends and family.

There’s Snow Business Like Show Business

The songbook is the draw here:

  • “Blue Skies” – the Berlin standard, brought to the stage live
  • “Sisters” – yes, that one, and good luck not singing along
  • “White Christmas” – the title tune, saved for you to hear in person

Rachel Mills directs, with music direction by Cheri Headrick. Got a grandparent who hums “White Christmas” every December without fail? This is their night. Bring them, and maybe bring tissues.

A Heads-Up for the Littlest Theatergoers

It’s a classic, family-friendly musical. It does include brief, stylized depictions of war and a few sudden, loud noises. That’s worth knowing if your youngest jumps at a door slam.

See you there, NWA.
