Dancing Queen Takes the Stage as Mamma Mia! Arrives in NWA

The soundtrack to your next sing-along is headed to Fayetteville. Mamma Mia! lands at Baum Walker Hall for eight performances of Greek island drama, wedding bells, and the songs that refuse to leave your head.

What You’re Getting Into

Set on a Greek island, this musical follows Sophie, a bride-to-be trying to figure out which of three men from her mom’s past is actually her dad. She invites all three to her wedding without telling anyone. The story unfolds through ABBA’s greatest hits, from “Dancing Queen” to “Take a Chance on Me.” Recommended for ages 10 and up.

Mix It Up Before the Show

Walton Arts Center is offering a cocktail class add-on for $45. You’ll learn how to mix two specialty cocktails from local mixologists while enjoying light appetizers from Fire and Lightning Catering. The class wraps up with enough time to get to your seat before curtain, and you’ll walk away with recipes to recreate the drinks at home.
