Hosted by Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation in collaboration with Crystal Bridges, the afternoon begins with a live Yakshagana performance, a centuries-old Indian theater style that weaves together music, dance, and storytelling. The performance tells the story of Deepavali (also known as Diwali), one of India’s most celebrated holidays, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness. It’s vibrant, theatrical, and a deep dive to the Indian culture.

After the show, attendees can craft traditional Indian diyas (oil lamps) using clay and explore other festive cultural designs. Local artists will be on-site to guide the process, making it accessible for all ages and skill levels. Aside from that, sweet treats will also be available throughout the afternoon.

This is designed for school-aged kids and families, but honestly, anyone curious about culture, art, or community gatherings will find something to enjoy. The afternoon offers a welcoming space to learn, create, and connect. See you there!
