Passport to Adventure is back in Bentonville, and this August, the theme is “Capital of Cool.” Enjoy live music, local vendors, and art showcases in the heart of Downtown Bentonville. Get ready to take in everything that makes our city so unique and vibrant—this First Friday is all about celebrating our community in the most exciting way possible.
The “Passport to Adventure” season has been taking the Square on monthly world tours, but August brings it home. Be ready for live performances from local artists, awesome products from local vendors and small businesses, and a great time spent with the community .

Eat Your Way Around the Block
Starting at 11 AM, the Square transforms into a mobile feast courtesy of some seriously good food trucks. Downtown Dawgs will satisfy your classic cravings while Takashimura Hibachi brings the heat with Japanese grill action. Kona Ice keeps things cool, Holey Moley Mini Donuts handles your sweet tooth, and Rolling Taco rounds out the lineup with handheld perfection.
Find Your Zen Before the Chaos
Before the Square fills with music and vendors, Yoga Story is offering something beautifully opposite—a free yoga class at noon. Bring your mat and some water, and let instructor-led stretches prepare you for an afternoon of serious fun. All skill levels welcome, which means your downward dog doesn’t need to be Instagram-ready.
Music That Hits Different
The main stage lineup features local talent, starting with Perry Ryan Theater at 4:30 PM and building to a 9 PM finale with Baang. Thomas Stringfellow, One Penny Shy, and Sam and the Silver Linings round out the evening.
