Day 1 Timeline:
- 7:00 PM: Group campfire dinner prepared by 37 North guides
- 6:00 AM: Springfield guests arrive at Farmer’s Park
- 8:00 AM: Bentonville guests arrive at The Motto Hotel
- 8:15 AM: Depart for Indian Creek Trailhead
- 10:15 AM: Arrive at Indian Creek
- 12:00 PM: Begin hike (covering around six miles)
- 2:00 PM: Lunch on trail
- 5:00 PM: Arrive at camp, set up and explore
Day 2 Timeline:
- 7:00 AM: Wake up
- 7:30 AM: Light breakfast at camp
- 9:00 AM: Begin hike
- 12:00 PM: Trailside lunch
- 2:00 PM: End hike at Indian Creek
- 4:15 PM: Arrive at The Motto for Bentonville guest drop off
- 6:30 PM: Arrive back at Farmer’s Park
What to Expect Ahead
If you haven’t tried backpacking before, it’s not a problem. This trip is designed for beginners and intermediate hikers who want to experience the backcountry without the stress of planning every detail. 37 North’s Master Guides will carry extra gear, set up camp, cook your meals, and make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way.
You’ll cover about nine miles total: six on day one, three on day two. Springfield guests meet at Farmer’s Park at 6:00 AM. Bentonville guests meet at The Motto Hotel at 8:00 AM. The group will set up at a private campsite off the trail with guaranteed tent spots for everyone. On Day 1, the group will hike to Indian Creek Trailhead, covering about six miles before reaching camp by early evening, where the real camping happens. Dinner will be served fireside at 7:00 PM, and you’ll have the whole night experiencing camping under the stars. On Day 2, you’ll wake up to a light breakfast before packing up and hitting the trail by 9:00 AM. After a trailside lunch, you’ll wrap up the hike by early afternoon.
What You’ll Need to Prepare
