The Aircraft

“That’s All, Brother” is the C-47A troop carrier that led the Airborne Invasion on D-Day, June 6, 1944, carrying 101st Airborne Division paratroopers into France. Its crew named it as a message to Adolf Hitler. During the rest of WWII, it served in Operation Dragoon, Market Garden, the Relief of Bastogne, and Operation Varsity.

The Yellow Rose is a B-25 Mitchell bomber like the ones flown by the Doolittle Raiders during the Raid Over Tokyo on April 18, 1942.

Both aircraft are offering living history flight experiences throughout the weekend.

What the Flight Experience Looks Like

Each experience lasts about one hour total. You’ll check in an hour before takeoff for a safety briefing, a history briefing, and a photo op with the crew. From there, you’ll watch the engine start-up sequence, taxi to the runway, and experience a full engine run-up before takeoff. Once airborne, the flight lasts approximately 20 to 25 minutes.

Rides are $250 per passenger, a special price honoring the 250th birthday of the United States.
