Free Dyslexia Screening for Kids This Saturday in Bentonville
Early identification can change everything when it comes to reading challenges. The Nelms Dyslexia Center is offering free screenings at Bentonville Public Library this Saturday, helping local families understand if their child might benefit from additional support.
Why Early Screening Helps
Dyslexia affects how the brain processes written language, but early identification opens doors to support and strategies that help kids thrive. Many children with dyslexia are bright and creative, they just need different approaches to reading and learning.

The screening happens in small groups organized by grade level, creating a comfortable environment for students. This no-cost tool isn’t a formal diagnosis, but it can show if further evaluation is recommended.
What Happens After
You’ll receive results via email approximately a week after the screening. The Nelms Dyslexia Center also offers an opportunity to schedule a phone consultation to discuss the results and talk through next steps.
