Get a Taste of Italy This Sunday at Cottage Inn in Eureka Springs
Chef-owner Linda Hager has spent years traveling and studying throughout Europe, and this Sunday she’s bringing those flavors straight to the Ozarks. Cottage Inn’s Italian Wine Dinner is a four-course, wine-paired meal rooted in the kind of Mediterranean cooking that only comes from someone who’s actually been there.

Four Courses, Four Stories on a Plate
The evening opens with Panelle (crispy Sicilian chickpea fritters) paired with a Frizzante sparkling wine. From there, you move into Eggplant Rollatini filled with housemade ricotta, paired with a Cavallo di Battaglia Pecorino white. The centerpiece of the night is Tonno alla Stemperata, tuna steaks braised with vinegar, celery, green olives, raisins, and capers, served over couscous alongside a Sicilia Rosso Nero d’Avola. The meal closes with Semifreddo with Almond and Marsala Coffee.
An original painting by Mary Sims will also be on display throughout the evening.

Dinner on the Quiet Side
Cottage Inn sits on the western edge of Eureka Springs, where locals call it the “Quiet Side,” tucked into a wooded setting along Highway 62 West. The property dates back to 1937, originally built as a tourist court, and the stucco cabins surrounding the restaurant still carry that early character. Inside, Linda’s menu leans into the freshness and herb-forward flavors of the Mediterranean, backed by an extensive wine list she’s curated from her travels.

Her wine dinners are a recurring event at Cottage Inn, with each one centered on a specific region or small vineyard she’s discovered firsthand.
