Grab Free Smoked Pulled Pork at City Nights in Luther George Park

Three hundred smoked pulled pork sandwiches are headed to Luther George Park, and they won’t cost you a dime. The Free Food Truck rolls into downtown Springdale on Wednesday, November 18, and the first 300 people through get dinner on the house.

Your weeknight menu usually depends on what’s still in the fridge. Not this one!

Pulled Pork, No Strings Attached

The hosts keep their reasoning simple: “We believe community happens when we eat together.” They had young families and seniors in mind, but anyone in Springdale who could use a good meal and a night out is welcome. There’s no ticket and no catch. You just show up.

Here’s what’s on the plate:

  • Smoked pulled pork sandwich: the main event, and the reason to get there early
  • Mac and cheese: the side nobody at the table will argue about
  • Baked beans: rounding out a plate built for the whole family

One menu, everybody eats. That’s a dinner-table negotiation you get to skip entirely.

Snow Cones, Watermelon, and a DJ on Deck

Dinner is just the start. The rest of the hour looks like this:

  • Activity stations and games: the kids stay busy while you actually finish a conversation
  • A DJ: keeping the music going from start to finish
  • Free snow cones: dessert is covered, and so are the sticky fingers
  • Watermelon: because a cookout without it is just a meal

Got a kid with more energy than a Razorback game day crowd? The games were made for exactly that.

Bring the Whole Block

Know a neighbor who could use a night off from cooking? Tag them and tell them where to be. The guy you nod to in the grocery checkout line lives here too, and a plate of pulled pork is a pretty good excuse to finally learn his name.

Come hungry, and come early. Three hundred meals sounds like a lot until you see how fast free barbecue moves.

See you there, NWA.
