Bass Pro Shops in Rogers is rolling out the red carpet (or should we say, fishing net?) for kids who want to experience the thrill of their first catch without the hassle of finding the perfect fishing spot. The Gone Fishing Kids’ Event is happening over two weekends this June, and trust us, it’s going to be reel-y good.
When the Fish Are Biting
Mark your calendars for not one, but two chances to snag this family-friendly fun:
Weekend One: June 6th & 13th from 11am – 2pm, plus June 7th-8th from 10am – 1pm
Weekend Two: June 14th-15th from 10am – 1pm
That’s plenty of opportunities to work around nap schedules, soccer games, and whatever else is filling up your family calendar.
What’s the Catch?
Here’s where it gets good: Bass Pro has set up a catch-and-release fishing pond right inside their Rogers location (2300 Promenade Blvd), so you can skip the sunscreen debate and the “are we there yet?” car ride to the lake.
