Eleven Years in the Making
The last time Fayetteville hosted a fireworks display at the Northwest Arkansas Mall was July 2015. The 11-year gap ends this Fourth, and the timing is deliberate. The city is reviving the tradition to mark the country’s 250th birthday.
Thousands of people are expected to turn out from across Northwest Arkansas, so plan on a crowd.
How to Make the Most of Your Night
The Northwest Arkansas Mall area has open space to spread out, but with a turnout this size, arriving early is the smart call. Bring a blanket, grab food before you head over, and stake out your spot before 9 PM.
The display is paid for by the city’s 2% hotel, motel, and restaurant tax, so there’s nothing to buy at the door. Just show up. After the show wraps, downtown Fayetteville is just minutes away if you want to keep the night going.
