Find Your Flow at Fayetteville Movement Festival This July
While everyone else is planning cookouts, you could be learning Latin dance, trying ice baths, and finding your zen at the Fayetteville Movement Festival, happening July 4-6 at Mount Sequoyah Center.
This is the 4th annual celebration bringing together community members making positive changes in dance, yoga, therapy, art, performance art, and improvisation. Think of it as summer camp for grown-ups (and kids!) who want to move, groove, and find their center—all while perched on the highest point in Fayetteville.
The weekend combines dance, yoga, functional movement, and deep relaxation with unexpected additions like hiking, skating, bird watching, and ice baths. Because apparently, finding your zen means embracing everything from Latin dance to literally chilling out.!

All classes are beginner accessible and appropriate for all bodies, all ages, and all levels of experience. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or someone who considers walking up the stairs cardio, this festival meets you exactly where you are.
Expect Latin dance sessions that’ll have you moving like you’ve got rhythm (even if you don’t), cardio groove classes that make sweating fun, and contemporary and jazz sessions that let your body tell its own story. Between the structured classes, you can explore the grounds, take a contemplative hike, or challenge yourself with those ice baths
