Ride in Catrina Style From Shiloh Square for Día de Muertos
Día de Muertos has always been about keeping loved ones close. This year in Northwest Arkansas, that tradition gets a set of handlebars.
Most remembering happens sitting still, over a photograph or a story told one more time. The Catrina Ride takes it out on the road instead, with your people riding along in spirit from Springdale all the way to Lake Fayetteville.

Remembering at Pedal Speed
Latinas en Bici call the Catrina Ride a celebration of culture and community. The idea is simple: you ride in honor of someone you miss, beside a whole pack of riders doing the exact same thing. Pick your person before you roll out and let them set the pace. Fair warning: Grandma may have opinions about how slow you’re going.

Latinas en Bici, Rolling Since 2019
This crew has been pedaling together since 2019, and they’re the ones bringing Día de Muertos to the road. Their motto sums up the whole morning nicely: We Ride, We Connect, We Thrive.

From Emma Avenue to the After-Party
Wheels roll from Shiloh Plaza on Emma Avenue and head for Lake Fayetteville. Once the riding’s done, the party starts at Luther George Park with La Casa de la Cultura Mexicana’s Día de Muertos celebration, a community event serving up food and tradition. Showing up supports it, and you’ve definitely earned a plate by then.
