Saddle Up for a Good Cause at Flint Creek Youth Ranch
Flint Creek Youth Ranch is inviting riders of all experience levels to saddle up for a winter trail ride that gives back. The Siloam Springs-based nonprofit is hosting leisurely rides along the scenic Flint Creek, and every dollar raised goes directly to supporting their herd of rescue horses.

You’ll spend time on horseback, winding through scenic trails and supporting the ranch’s rescue work.
Where the Trail Leads
The trail follows Flint Creek through natural Northwest Arkansas landscape. Mud, open views, and time away from screens are all part of it.

Flint Creek Youth Ranch works with each rider based on their comfort level. First-timers, families, and experienced riders all fit. Reach out through their contact form if you have questions about your riding ability or want details on private lessons.
What to Bring (and Wear)
January in Arkansas means preparing for whatever Mother Nature decides to deliver. Dress in layers and bring hats and gloves since you’ll be outside for a couple of hours. Closed-toed shoes are required, and boots with a small heel work best for riding.
Fair warning, you’re heading to a working corral and riding through natural terrain. Mud and horse manure are part of the package, so leave your nice shoes at home.

There are no restroom facilities at the corral or along the trail, so plan a quick stop at a nearby business before your ride time.
Feel free to bring treats for the horses. The herd loves fruits and vegetables (peel and all), just cut them into bite-sized pieces.

Supporting the Mission
Flint Creek Youth Ranch rescues and rehabilitates horses while providing therapeutic riding experiences for youth and the community. Your ride donation directly supports the care and feeding of these animals, making each trail ride both a memorable experience and a meaningful contribution.

In case of severe weather, the ranch will notify registered riders of any schedule changes or rescheduling.
