Score Free Candy and Costume Glory at Luther George Park's Halloween Fest
Free candy for the kids and a costume contest with somebody’s name on it: the Springdale Halloween Fest is back at Luther George Park on October 24. The best part for your wallet? The whole thing is FREE, which makes it the most boo-dget-friendly Halloween plan in town.

The Springdale Police Department and Springdale Parks and Recreation are teaming up again with the Downtown Springdale Alliance to throw it. Here’s what’s waiting at the park:
- Free candy giveaways: the kids fill the bag, and you don’t have to buy the bag of fun-size bars yourself
- Touch-a-truck: climb up, look around, and honk if they let you
- Carnival games: a little friendly competition between sugar breaks
- Costume contest: dust off last year’s dinosaur suit or go big with something new. This is the day to show it off
And there’s more on the schedule beyond those four. Keep an eye on the sky, too. If it rains, the fest moves to October 25.
