Sauce Showdowns and Smokin’ Meats Take Over Downtown Rogers

Your cravings for barbecue and competitive spirit will be your go signal to join Downtown Rogers for two days of tasting different flavors, enjoying friendly rivalries, and going all out with so much fun and energy.

The barbecue will be smoking hot, and you’ll surely want to be there.

What You’ll Find

This marks the 10th year pitmasters from across the region come together to compete, connect, and show off their best barbecue. Teams fire up their smokers and compete for both the judges’ votes and yours.

Festivities will start on Friday evening with a sauce competition from 6 to 8 PM. For $5, guests receive a plate with five sausage slices, each paired with a different sauce created by the teams. Voters decide who takes home the People’s Choice Best Sauce Award, and additional plates can be purchased to keep sampling more flavors. 

Saturday’s Main Event

Saturday afternoon brings the main event, running from 12:30 to 3 PM. For $10, attendees can buy a taster pack that includes five one-ounce samples of pork and turkey, plus voting tickets to cast their choices for People’s Choice Awards in both categories. Multiple packs mean more tastes and more votes. By the end of the day, winners will be announced for both the People’s Choice and Judges’ Choice Awards, closing out the weekend of competition with awards, applause, and a community brought together by great barbecue.
