Swing Into Halloween at the Stark Ravin Party at The Ravington

Stark Ravin’ is a pun with a dance floor attached, and the floor is the real joke: six straight hours of swing, waltzes, and line dancing in costume at The Ravington in Centerton. Yes, the party is called Ravin’ at The Ravington. We see what they did there, and we approve.

The spookiest part? How fast 6 p.m. turns into midnight.

Six Dance Styles and One Busy Floor

If you’ve got a dance in your back pocket, there’s a song for it. On the floor all night:

  • West Coast Swing: for the folks who’ve been practicing
  • Lindy Hop: bring your energy and your good shoes
  • Country Swing and Two Step: boots very much welcome
  • Waltzes: when you need to catch your breath without leaving the floor
  • Country and pop line dancing: no partner required, just count to eight

A few themed songs are sprinkled into the mix, so switch styles whenever the next track starts. Boo-gie accordingly.

Wear the Costume, Save $3 on a Mocktail

Your costume pays for itself (sort of). Show up dressed up and you’ll get a ticket for $3 off at the mocktail bar, where themed mocktails and soft drinks are on the menu. Candy is on hand too, for when you need a sugar boost between songs. Fuel for monsters of every size.

Bring the Little Goblins

This is a family-friendly costume party, and the floor is open to all ages from the first song to the last. Kids 10 and under get in for half price, so the whole crew can come stomp it out together.

The night is presented by Belle’s Backroad Ballroom and sponsored by The Meteor Guitar Gallery. Credit where it’s due for a Halloween that ends with sore feet and a song stuck in your head.

See you there, NWA.
