TheatreSquared Throws Open Its Doors for Season 21 Celebration

TheatreSquared is turning the start of a new season into a full community celebration, and you don’t need a ticket to be part of it. The Season 21 Celebration is built for wandering in, grabbing a plate, and sticking around a while before the new season of shows even begins.

Family Fun Meets Behind the Scenes Access

You’ll find plenty to keep the whole crew busy, from a kid zone to a dunk tank where you can send a local favorite into the water. TheatreSquared is also opening its doors for a rare look at the process behind the curtain, with an open rehearsal of August Wilson’s “Fences” running 3:30 to 4 PM, plus backstage experiences throughout the afternoon.

Eat, Drink, and Bid on Something Good

Signature Bank is manning the grill for free food, with supplies from Ben E. Keith and Tyson. Stick around for the auction, where you can bid while you snack. If you upgrade to VIP, you’ll get a tote bag of merch, free parking, a drink ticket, a dunk tank pass, and access to a lounge stocked with live entertainment and bites from The Commons Bar/Café.

This year’s celebration is presented by Bob and Becky Alexander, with a goal of raising $50,000 to fund the season ahead. Organizers are encouraging a suggested donation of $10 or more per guest to help reach it.

There’s also a story time tucked into the schedule for the younger kids, one more reason to bring the whole family instead of just popping in solo. Grab your people and come see what TheatreSquared has lined up for the year ahead.
