Trail Art and Creek Time at This Summer Camp

If your kid’s the kind who loves turning over rocks to see what’s underneath—or comes home with pockets full of leaves and “cool sticks”—this is their kind of week. Nature Explorers is back at Crystal Bridges, and it’s more than just a camp. It’s a chance for 8–10 year olds to go full adventurer mode—learning survival skills, spotting local critters, and making trail-side art with real naturalists guiding the way.

The Deets:

📍 Where: Crystal Bridges Museum, 600 Museum Way, Bentonville, AR
📅 When: June 9–13, 9 AM – 12 PM
💲 Cost: $200 ($160 for members)

What’s Happening:

Think of it like summer camp meets mini-expedition. Kids going into 3rd through 5th grade will spend their mornings exploring the art trails, creeks, and woods around Crystal Bridges—led by the awesome team at 37 North Expeditions. They’ll get hands-on with real tools, learn how to ID native plants and animals, test their outdoor survival chops, and make nature-inspired art along the way. It’s fun, messy, and totally memory-making. Bonus: it also builds teamwork, confidence, and a healthy love of the outdoors.

How to Stay in the Loop:

More info and ticket reservations at the Crystal Bridges Museum website.
You can also check their Facebook event page or call Guest Experience at (479) 657-2335.

Wrap It Up With a Nudge:

If you’ve got a young explorer at home, this one’s a no-brainer. Spots go quick, so snag one while you can—your kid will thank you (right after they rinse the mud off their shoes).
