This August 8 will be an exciting night for art lovers as the Mount Sequoyah Center opens an exhibit featuring the work of Dani Ives, known for her wool-based portraits, Melissa Milton, celebrated for her upcycled cardboard sculptures, and Shannon Smith, a mixed-media artist blending analog photography, sculpture, and woodworking to explore time, memory, and introspection. This one-night event invites you to experience each artist’s distinct voice up close and explore the depth and detail of each piece.

It’s totally free to attend. You can wander through the exhibit, take in the textures, colors, and stories behind each piece, and maybe even chat with the artists themselves. It’s a laid-back way to immerse yourself into the local art scene!

So bring your curiosity and let the creativity do the rest. See you there, NWA!
