Live Music, Park Vibes, and Summer Nights in Fayetteville

Gulley Park is one of those places that just feels like summer. If you’ve been in Fayetteville a while, chances are you’ve spent at least one Thursday night on the grass listening to live music with a taco in one hand and your kid (or your dog) running wild nearby. If not, this is the perfect year to start.

The Gulley Park Summer Concert Series is back for its 29th year, kicking off Thursday, June 12, and running through July 24. It’s one of those events that’s easy to love and even easier to show up for.

The Basics

This one’s super simple: music, food, and good vibes. All you’ve gotta do is bring yourself (and maybe a blanket).

📍 Where: Gulley Park Gazebo, Fayetteville
📅 When: Thursdays at 7 PM, June 12–July 24 (no show on July 3)
🎟 Cost: Free!

It’s chill, low-pressure, and honestly one of the best ways to spend a summer night in town.

This Year’s Lineup

The music’s always good, and this summer is no different. Here’s who you’ll catch on stage:

  • June 12 – Ultra Suede
  • June 19 – National Park Radio
  • June 26 – Emo Night: Taylor’s Version (yep, plus Kidz Night!)
  • July 10 – Rochelle Bradshaw & Hypnotion
  • July 17 – Dandelion Heart
  • July 24 – King Cabbage Brass Band

Music kicks off at 7 PM each night, but it’s worth showing up a little early—especially if you want a good seat or first dibs at your favorite food truck.

Bring the Kids—or Just Be a Kid

If you’ve got littles, June 26 is the night to circle. It’s Kidz Night, which means bounce houses, jumbo games, face painting, and other fun stuff that’ll keep them busy while you enjoy the music. It runs from 6:30–8:30 PM and is 10/10 for burning off summer energy.

Don’t Skip the Art Market

While the bands are setting up, check out the Gulley Park Art Market. It pops up during every show with local artists, handmade goods, and just a whole lot of neat stuff. It’s a fun walk-through before the music starts or something to explore in between sets.

Why It’s Worth Going

It’s just one of those Fayetteville things. No tickets, no hassle, just people showing up to enjoy the evening. Some bring full-on picnic spreads. Others grab a lawn chair and some fries. It’s casual, fun, and always ends up being one of those nights you’re glad you said yes to.
