Ozark Beer Company Turns Pi Day Into a Rogers Tradition
Every March 14th, Ozark Beer Company in Rogers reminds NWA that Pi Day is worth celebrating. This year they’re adding a pie eating contest to an afternoon already packed with handpies from local vendors and a 3.14-mile Garmin doodle run.

The Nerd Stuff (It’s Actually Cool)
Pi (π) is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, always equal to 3.14 regardless of the circle’s size. Write 3.14 on paper, hold it up to a mirror, and it spells “pie.” That’s all the justification Ozark Beer Co. needs. And honestly, it’s all you need too.

What’s on the Menu
Starting at 3:14 PM, Rogers-based Margaret’s Flavor Hub brings handpies and K Bakes brings mini pies. Both are available until they sell out, so plan accordingly. Wicked Wood Fired Pizza keeps the savory side going with pizza pies throughout the day. Ozark Beer Co.’s full lineup of beers, cocktails, and slushies rounds everything out.

Lace Up or Gear Up
Benton County Running Club leads a 3.14-mile route designed to trace a pi symbol on your Garmin. Your GPS will literally draw the symbol when you’re done. NWA No Drop handles the bike side with a 3.14-mile ride and longer options if you’re up for it. Both groups meet at the brewery at 3:14 PM, and all ages and fitness levels are welcome.

The Pie Eating Contest
New this year: up to 12 contestants go face-first into whipped cream-laden pies starting at 5 PM on the patio. Two winners walk away with bragging rights. One is based on speed, the other judged by audience applause and flair. Entry is $10 and spots are capped at 12, so sign up at the bar when it opens.

Whether you’re running, riding, eating, or just showing up for the beer and pie, Ozark Beer Company has you covered on March 14th. Save the date and we’ll see you in Rogers.
