A new group of artists has moved into The Medium, and their work is already making its mark on the Springdale space. Visual Art Night is your first look at what they’ve brought, and admission is free.

From the Main Hall to the Lawn
Michelle Kamanga’s exhibition, Black Matter(s): Demystifying Black Materiality in the Arts, examines how physical materials carry cultural meaning and shape the way Black identity is represented in art.
Outside on the lawn, Rex Roberts has installed a carved hexagon wood sculpture with audio-reactive projection mapping that responds to sound in real time. The installation runs for nine weeks.
Studio Move-In Day (Kind Of)
As part of the Creative Exchange Fund, Brett Pitts and Katy L. Kane are settling into their studios at The Medium for six-week residencies. Visual Art Night gives you an early look before their work takes full shape.
