Bait, Build, and Snack
Kids get to try their hand at fishing, build a DIY perch pole, and take home a “Tackle Snack-le Bag” (while supplies last). Fishing poles are available to borrow, so you don’t need to show up with gear. Bring water, a blanket or chair, and your own rod if you have one.

A Worm-Free Morning
True to its name, this is a worm-free event. No live bait, no surprise squirming. Just time outside with room to explore and connect.
Do You Need a Fishing License?
If you’re helping your child fish, you’re good to go. No license required. If you plan to fish on your own, you’ll need one. A 3-day license for ages 16 and up is available at this website.

Dress for the weather and head to the lake.

Ozark Nature Co-op keeps the calendar full of ways to get outside and stay connected to the NWA community. Follow along their Facebook page so you don’t miss what’s next.
