Eureka Springs Jeep Jam Rolls Into the Ozarks for Four Days of Trails and Trail Mix

Jeep engines are about to drown out the birdsong in Eureka Springs. Owners from across the country are rolling into the Ozark Mountains for four days centered on one thing: their rigs. You don’t need a Wrangler with mud still caked on the tires to feel the pull of this one. Come take it in.

THE DEETS

Six Years Strong

This is the sixth year you can join the Eureka Springs Jeep Jam, presented by McLarty Daniel in partnership with the Eureka Springs Rotary Club, which serves projects both locally and internationally. The event benefits Peterson Outdoors Ministries, an organization that supports veterans and first responders through outdoor recreational therapy, retreats, hunts, and other life-changing outdoor experiences. You can learn more about their mission at petersonoutdoors.org. Bring whatever you drive, since every Jeep make, model, and experience level is welcome. What started smaller has grown over the past five years into a full four-day weekend, Thursday through Sunday.

Warming Up the Engines

Thursday night opens things up with a welcome dinner, and you can spend Thursday and Friday working through rides and classes before the weekend hits its peak.

Trails, Bingo, and a Whole Lot of Horsepower

Across the four days, you can join guided rides through the Ozarks, tackle dirt trail routes, and check out vendor booths between activities. The poker run sends you hunting for cards at stops like the Little Golden Gate Bridge, Beaver Lake Dam Overlook, Inspiration Point, Riverview Resort & Country Store, and Thorncrown Chapel before wrapping up at Horseshoe Grill for lunch on Sunday. Best hand at the end takes the prize. Register for the Poker Run ($13.98). Round things out with Jeep Bingo, a scavenger hunt, and live music. Once the sun goes down, the Lighted Night Cruise takes over.

The Main Event

Saturday, September 12, is when things really come to a head. The Jeep show and parade are the heart of the weekend. You can walk the rows of rigs at the show, then watch as hundreds of Jeeps fill the streets of historic downtown Eureka Springs for the parade, one of the most anticipated automotive events in the region.

Show Up Even Without a Jeep

Not driving? You can still watch from the sidelines. Spectators are welcome at both the Jeep show and along the parade route, free of charge, though only registered Jeeps join the parade itself. If you’re bringing your own rig, registration is per Jeep, not per person.
