Ozark Flame & Flavor Fest Is Bringing Extreme Heat to Downtown Bentonville

Northwest Arkansas has never had a spicy festival. That changes August 29th when Ozark Flame & Flavor Fest takes over Record Downtown in Bentonville, with a lineup built for people who take their heat seriously.

Where Pepper Meets Pavement

The main event is an official League of Fire Bentonville Belt Match, an extreme pepper eating competition hosted by League of Fire World Champion Fiery Redd. These matches are genuinely hard to watch and impossible to look away from.

There’s also an amateur pepper eating competition for anyone who wants in, a wing eating competition, and a kids’ pepper eating competition for the young ones who are convinced they can handle it.

Live Music All Night

The festival also has live music running throughout the evening. Headlining is Dreadful Day, with Anthony Tabone of East of Anthony also on the bill.

More Than Just Heat

Craft hot sauce vendors will have bottles on-site, and a best vendor hot sauce competition will sort out which ones are actually worth buying. Food vendors are there too, so you’re not going in on an empty stomach unless you choose to.
