The heat doesn’t break when the sun goes down at Fermentation Hall this month. It just changes form. SolSets is turning the venue into a late-night sweatbox, and you’ll feel it in your legs the next day.

Who’s Behind the Decks

Four acts, four genres. $UGARFREEVANILLA is a DJ duo out of Little Rock, formed by two best friends who play pop edits and hard-hitting techno built for the dance floor.

VØIDWAV3 works darker territory: rolling hardgroove and faster schranz, heavy percussion, distorted low-end. He started out DJing as half of the duo Dockers before he moved into producing on his own. He’s got a signed track on Warind Records and two collabs with UNTEXX under his belt.

Laurenipsum is the local of the bunch, based right here in Northwest Arkansas, and she doesn’t stick to one genre. Her sets swing through techno, bass, electroclash, and deep house depending on the room.

Lucino closes it out with tech house built on rolling basslines and his own Latin influences. It’s dance music, plain and simple, meant to keep people moving.

What to Expect

The night starts lighter, playful club sounds and Latin-influenced tech house, and gets darker and faster as it goes. Four hours is a long set to fill, but with four different DJs trading off, it never sits still long enough to get boring.

Come dressed for heat, not the kind outside.
