A Night of Color, Creativity, and Kid-Free Fun Awaits

Parents, we see you clutching that lukewarm coffee like a lifeline while your kindergartner explains why the cat definitely needs to wear a tutu. What if we told you there’s a place in Bentonville where your little Picassos can create masterpieces while you actually finish a conversation?

Enter Crystal Bridges’ Kids Night: It’s All About Hue — the parent hack you’ve been praying for.

Where Art Meets Babysitting (The Good Kind)

Every month, Crystal Bridges transforms into the ultimate kid zone while simultaneously becoming a grown-up sanctuary. Kids Night is designed for children in grades K–6, with tonight’s activities all about prisms, color, and creativity. Kids will explore how artists use color through paint and light, experimenting and mixing to create brand-new hues.

Translation: Your kids will be knee-deep in the kind of messy, wonderful art projects that would normally turn your dining room into a Jackson Pollock crime scene.

The Magic Happens Here

Picture this: Your little ones are learning about how light bends through prisms (yes, actual science is happening), mixing colors like tiny mad scientists, and discovering that purple isn’t just purple — it’s a whole universe of lavender, violet, and plum possibilities.

Meanwhile, the professional educators at Crystal Bridges are doing what they do best: channeling that boundless kid energy into something beautiful. No cleanup required on your end. We repeat: no cleanup required.

Parents, This One’s For You Too

While the kids create, sign up for Art by the Glass, happening at the same time, and enjoy a relaxing, art-filled evening of your own. Because let’s be honest — when’s the last time you held something more sophisticated than a juice box?

Art by the Glass runs simultaneously, meaning you can sip wine, try your hand at pottery or painting, and remember what it feels like to have thoughts that aren’t interrupted by “Mom, where’s my…” every thirty seconds.

The Details That Matter

What: Kids Night: It’s All About Hue
Who: Kids in grades K-6 (that’s ages 5-12 for those keeping track)
How Much: $24 ($20 for Members)
Where: Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, 600 Museum Way, Bentonville

For 2.5 hours, your kids will be supervised, entertained, and educated by people who actually know what they’re doing. You’ll get them back tired, proud of their creations, and probably talking your ear off about “spectral light” or some other fancy art term they picked up.
