Cats, Snacks, and Cinema
While Fantastic Mr. Fox plays on screen, you’ll be surrounded by adoptable cats who are free to roam, play, and occasionally interrupt the plot with their own brand of entertainment. The Smitten Kitten provides popcorn, candy, and sodas to round out the classic cinema experience, but you’re welcome to bring extra snacks and drinks. You’ll get the comfort of a living room viewing party with furry companions who didn’t RSVP but showed up anyway.
The café encourages guests to bring floor pads or blankets for maximum comfort during the screening. Between Mr. Fox’s woodland heists and the resident cats’ attention-seeking antics, you’ll have plenty to watch. The café welcomes anyone 6 and older, so bring the kids for a movie night that gets everyone off the couch.
The Smitten Kitten operates as both a cat café and adoption center, so while you’re enjoying Wes Anderson’s stop-motion storytelling, you could meet a cat worth taking home.
