A Sundae Kind of Sunday Sweetens Savoy
There’s a particular kind of quiet that settles over Savoy on a summer afternoon, the kind broken only by a screen door swinging shut and the clink of a spoon against a glass dish. This weekend, you can trade that quiet for something sweeter, as neighbors gather at the community building for an afternoon built around ice cream, games, and each other.

Build Your Own Sundae
The Savoy Extension Homemakers Club is covering the essentials: ice cream, toppings, cones, and drinks, so you can build your sundae exactly how you like it. Grab a bowl, pile it high, and find a spot at one of the tables to dig in.

Games for Every Age
Once your bowl is empty, the fun keeps going. Checkers, dominoes, cards, and cornhole are all on hand, ready for anyone who wants to sit and strategize or step outside for some friendly competition.

A Cause Worth Celebrating
There’s no admission fee and no ticket to buy. You simply show up and give what you can. Every donation goes toward new siding and continued upkeep for the Savoy Community Building, so your sundae doubles as a small investment in keeping this gathering spot standing for years to come.

Bring the kids, bring whoever you can talk into tagging along. The Savoy Extension Homemakers Club built this afternoon around good company and cold ice cream, and both taste better shared.
