Bauhaus Biergarten Pours Two Days of Oktoberfest in Downtown Springdale
The Biergarten is about to become a little piece of Bavaria, and everyone is invited. The organizers greet you with a “Prost!” and sign off with “Wir sehen uns am Tisch,” which means “see you at the table.”

Ten Chefs, Ten Tasting Stations
Ten local chefs cook live at Bavarian tasting stations, and the menu is German classics reimagined. Seasonal bier is poured alongside the food. The organizers promise “full tables, full plates, and peak Gemütlichkeit,” so you can bring your appetite.
Saturday Sets the Stage
Doors open with lawn games, and tricycle races follow. Alan Burdick plays the first set, and the Lederhosen Parade and dog show wind through while he does. The cornhole tournament and yodeling contest come after that, so you can test your voice at the second one. Bob Shaw plays the evening set as the stein holding competition gets underway, and last call closes the night.
Sunday Shifts Into Gear
You can catch the German car show to start the morning, and lawn games open with the doors. Rumwolf plays the first set while tricycle races run. Bob Shaw returns for an afternoon set, and the dog show and parade take place during it. Shenwa plays the final set while the stein holding competition and cornhole tournament run. Last call wraps the weekend.
Dress Code Encouraged, Dogs Welcome
Lederhosen and dirndls are encouraged, and a costume contest is part of the fun. Kinder and Hunde are herzlich willkommen, which means kids and dogs are both welcome.
