Gangsters, Glamour, and a Cross-Country Chase
Set in Prohibition-era Chicago, Some Like It Hot follows two musicians who witness a mob hit and have to get out of town fast. They board a cross-country train disguised as women, and what follows is a non-stop ride of mistaken identity, close calls, and showstopping numbers. The show took home four Tony Awards, including best choreography and best costumes, along with the Grammy Award for best musical theater album. The New York Times called it a “super-sized, all-out song-and-dance spectacular,” and the Associated Press described it as “glorious, big, high-kicking.” That pretty much covers it.

Recommended for ages 13 and up.
Mix It Up Before the Show
Before the show, there’s a cocktail class add-on you can tack onto your evening. You’ll get hands-on with two specialty cocktails crafted by Walton Arts Center’s in-house mixologists, snack on light appetizers from Fire and Lightning Catering, and leave with the recipes to recreate them at home.

No show tickets? You can still join. If you do have them, you’ll be in your seat well before the lights go down.
