Centerton Community Comes Together for the 49th Annual Centerton Days
Centerton marks 49 years of its hometown festival this September, and you get two full days to spend it with neighbors right in the middle of town. You’ll have plenty of reasons to slow down this weekend and take part in what Centerton has put together.

Crown Your Favorite at the Pageant
Friday night, head to Centerton City Hall to cheer on this year’s Centerton Day Pageant contestants as they compete for the crown.
Fire Up for the Rip Competition
Also Friday, you can catch the 2nd Annual Rip Competition starting at Ace Hardware. You’ll find the awards ceremony back at the same spot on Saturday.
Saturday Starts With Breakfast and a Catch
Head to Fire Station No. 1 at 755 W Centerton Blvd for a pancake breakfast put on by the local fire department. Kids can grab a rod and head to Centerton Lake for the Kid’s Fishing Derby, hosted by the Public Works Department. Once you’ve had your fill and reeled something in, head over to City Park for the Centerton Market.
Live Music and a Look Under the Hood
Home By Daylight Duo takes the City Park stage with covers from John Denver, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and Van Morrison, plus classic country and early rock and roll. They take a break during the parade and pick back up with more music afterward. If you’re into classic rides, walk over to check out the Car Show at 11507 W Hwy 72, with sponsorship support from Wicked Bean and Langman Winery.
Fingerprints, a Parade and Some Candy
The Centerton Police Department offers fingerprinting. Parade line-up happens at Old Harps Store, Commercial Street and Highway 102, and it welcomes decorated vehicles, golf carts, UTVs, bikes, floats, horses, old cars and tractors, no fancy float required. If you’re running for local office, organizers invite you to walk the route and ask that you bring candy to hand out along the way.
Rips, an Auction and Closing It Out
The Rip Competition awards ceremony wraps up at Ace Hardware Saturday afternoon. The competition started the night before, and this is where it finishes up. Centerton Cares sponsors a silent auction at the City Park Community Room. Food vendors, informational booths and craft vendors round out your day at both City Hall Park and the Highway 72 event site.
