Costumes Take Center Stage
A costume contest follows the run for kids and adults, and the prizes go to whoever nails the look best. You have to stick around to win, so don’t bail before the awards come out.
Awards Stack Up by Age
Cross the finish line and you earn a medal. Top three men and women overall get recognized, along with the top masters runners age 50 and up. After that it splits into age groups, 14 and under through 70 and over, three deep in each bracket, all based on gun time.
Know Before You Go
Dogs sit this one out, no exceptions on the course. Parking is free and scattered around downtown, but give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot and walk over before the race starts.
Volunteers Keep It Running
It takes volunteers to pull off race day, course marshals, finish line crew, and the Ready For Anything team all included. Marshals need to be 18 or older, or paired with an adult, and their job is keeping cars off the route. If you don’t have a vest, grab one at the Bentonville Community Center or right at the event. Sign up through the event’s volunteer form to claim a spot.
