December Fridays Sound Better Inside the Compton Hotel
The Compton Hotel has Friday night live music lined up for all of December, plus a carol sing-along the weekend before Christmas. The lobby becomes the stage, Field Notes handles the drinks, and you get a front-row seat to some solid local talent.

Your Friday Night Lineup
The Holiday Porch Light Sessions bring local musicians into the Compton lobby every Friday in December from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Bil Skaggs kicks things off on December 19, followed by Jon Dooley on December 26 for a post-Christmas show.
Grab beer or wine from Field Notes at the café window and settle in. The hotel’s limestone walls and skylit atrium create a different vibe than your typical bar venue. Think somewhere between a living room show and an actual concert.
Sing Along on Saturday
On December 20, the Tiny Campers Duo hosts a holiday sing-along from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Song booklets are provided, warm drinks are available, and you’ll spend the afternoon singing through carols with other locals and hotel guests.
Both events are free and open to the public. Show up when you want, stay as long as you want, and enjoy some live holiday music in downtown Bentonville.
