Eureka Springs Hosts Its First Gilmore Girls Fans Weekend
Coffee cups clink and trolleys roll down Main Street as Eureka Springs trades its usual mountain calm for a Stars Hollow makeover. Self-proclaimed Gilmore Girls fans from across the country are already planning their outfits and comparing witty comebacks.

Your Passport To A Weekend In Stars Hollow
Your registration comes with a commemorative Passport Book, an event souvenir, a Scavenger Hunt access code, and a full weekend schedule to keep you on track between coffee refills. You’ll also get a discount coupon toward an official event T-shirt and a map of downtown with the trolley routes marked out.
Register early and you could land one of the first 150 spots, which come with a free two-day trolley pass and an official GG’s in the Ozarks T-shirt at no extra cost.
Four Days Of Fast Talk And Full Calendars
Thursday opens with the Bells Across America ceremony at Basin Spring Park. From there, you can grab dinner at one of the participating restaurants around town to close out the evening.
Friday keeps you moving with a Scavenger Hunt that runs all the way through Sunday, plus plenty of time to browse downtown shops on your own. In the evening, you can meet up with other fans for dinner at one of the participating restaurants or head to Lovell’s Estate Winery to relax with the group.
Saturday is when the weekend picks up speed. A Coffee Crawl gets you between local shops in the morning, a Classic Car Parade rolls down Spring Street, and a family-friendly Old West Bank Robbery reenactment plays out right after. A Town Hall meeting with the mayor follows in the afternoon, and once evening comes, the Thousand Stars Dance takes over the Historic Auditorium.
Sunday gives you the morning free to shop downtown boutiques and galleries before a DAR Tea at the Inn of the Ozarks Ballroom, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with treats and tradition. The weekend closes with an evening concert from Al Jardine and the Pet Sounds Band on Main Street.
Bring A Book, Take A Book
If you’d rather browse shelves than crash a dance floor, the Carnegie Library is hosting a Book Swap on Friday and Saturday. Bring something you’ve already loved and swap it for something new. It’s a relaxed way to spend an afternoon with other readers in your group, tucked into one of Eureka Springs’ coziest corners.
This is the first year Eureka Springs has put together a weekend dedicated to Gilmore Girls fandom, and organizers behind GG’s in the Ozarks are hoping it becomes a lasting yearly tradition for the town. Your registration fee helps cover the planning, signage, and small-town details that make an inaugural event like this possible.
