Fall Rock Swap Rolls Into Siloam Springs
You know the feeling: sifting through a box of stones at a swap meet, turning one over, and suddenly you’re holding a piece of the earth that’s been waiting millions of years to catch your eye. That thrill returns to Siloam Springs this fall, when the Northwest Arkansas Gem and Mineral Society opens its clubhouse grounds for a day devoted entirely to rocks, minerals, and the people who love them.

Rocks, Fossils, and Everything In Between
You’ll find vendor tables piled with rough and polished stones, fossils, crystals, gemstones, and cabochons. Jewelry made from stone sits next to lapidary equipment, ready for you to start cutting and polishing your own finds. Dealers who spend their days surrounded by rocks are on hand to talk shop and trade tips.

Dig For Your Own Gems at the Sluice
Buy a bag of dirt from the Northwest Arkansas Gem and Mineral Society’s gem sluice and swoosh it through the water to see what turns up. Gemstones, fossils, and other small treasures are hidden inside, waiting for you to find them one handful at a time.

Bid at the Live Auction
At 1 PM, the swap shifts into auction mode, and you’re invited to bid right along with everyone else on the grounds. Stick around to see what pieces draw the most competition, or raise your own hand and go home with something new.

If you have rocks, fossils, or handmade pieces of your own, you can set up a table and sell alongside the regulars, no cost to claim a spot.
