Gold Rush 5K Hits Downtown Bentonville This May

If you’re looking for a reason to get moving this spring, the Gold Rush 5K gives you one — and it’s for a good cause.

The Bentonville Schools Foundation is bringing back its annual Gold Rush 5K and Fun Run to Downtown Bentonville. Your registration goes directly toward funding programs and resources for students and educators across the Bentonville School District.

THE DEETS

Don’t Sleep on Early Pricing

Registration is still open, but pricing goes up the longer you wait — and locking in early guarantees your preferred shirt size.

Early Registration (through April 9)

• Fun Run: $10 (student) / $15 (adult)
• 5K: $20 (student) / $30 (adult)

Standard Registration (April 10–April 26, closes midnight)

• Fun Run: $15 (student) / $20 (adult)
• 5K: $25 (student) / $35 (adult)

Late Registration/Packet Pickup (April 29, 12–6 p.m. at BSF offices, 400 NW 2nd Street — for non-Bentonville school participants only)

• 5K: $30 (student) / $40 (adult)
• Fun Run: $20 (student) / $25 (adult)

Pick Your Distance

Both races are open to all ages, so you can choose the distance that works for you and still wrap up the evening with your group. There’s a spot at the starting line no matter your pace.

A Note on Weather

If the event is cancelled due to weather, no refunds will be issued. A students-only makeup Fun Run will be scheduled, with details announced at a later date.
