Helos, Wings and Wheels Turns Springdale’s Runway Into a Car and Aircraft Show
Springdale Municipal Airport is opening its gates for a Saturday that has nothing to do with catching a flight. The runways and hangars that usually see private planes and the occasional charter are about to host a different kind of traffic, and you’re invited to walk right up to it.

Wheels and Wings Collide
You can walk the flight line and get close to helicopters and aircraft on display, then wander over to the classic car lineup parked nearby. Emergency response vehicles join the mix too, so you can check out the trucks your local first responders actually use. Food vendors are on-site if you get hungry, and there are activities to keep kids busy between stops. The event marks America’s 250th anniversary, giving your Saturday a bit of extra occasion.
Cruise for a Cause
Your visit does more than fill your Saturday. Proceeds from the event go toward financial assistance for students pursuing careers in vocational and technical fields, so showing up helps send someone to trade school.
