Ice Cream and Live Music Fill the Room at ANA Gallery’s Artist Reception

Grab a friend and head to Downtown Rogers, where the ANA Gallery is opening its doors for an evening that feels more like a gathering than a typical reception. Come browse the walls, settle in, and stay a while, because this one comes with a few extras you don’t usually get alongside the art.

Ice Cream, Art and a Sing Along

The ANA Gallery Group is calling this one Music & Cream and Art in Between. You’ll find an ice cream cart set up in the gallery with chilled treats, then you can follow the crowd into the ANA Studio for a live concert and sing along.

You’ll hear Southern Strings Mountain Music Group take the stage alongside Dave Floyd and LeRoy Dubois. Southern Strings brings 18 members and a lineup of instruments you don’t hear together every day: mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, banjo dulcimer, cajon, folk harp, mountain harp, box drum, guitar, ukulele, violin, harmonica, bow psaltery, cello, and a handful of percussion instruments. Expect Americana and international folk tunes, plus a few spiritual numbers mixed in.
