George Bailey is coming to Fayetteville this holiday season, and he’s bringing all the Christmas magic with him. TheatreSquared presents a stage adaptation of the beloved film It’s a Wonderful Life with a production that reminds you why this story has warmed hearts for generations.

Eight Actors, 65+ Characters
Eight actors take on over 65 roles in this TheatreSquared original adaptation. Co-adapted by Robert Ford and Damon Kiely from the Frank Capra film and directed by Kiely, the production captures George Bailey’s journey as he puts his dreams on hold to rescue the failing family business. On Christmas Eve, standing alone and wishing he’d never been born, George meets a mysterious stranger who shows him just how much one life can matter.
The American Film Institute called the original film “the century’s most inspirational film,” and this stage version delivers that same emotional punch. You’ll watch George learn that “no man is a failure who has friends,” and yes, even the cynics in the audience will find themselves cheering by the final curtain.

The show runs through December 24, with special holiday performances scheduled throughout the season. Note that there are no performances from November 25-27 (Thanksgiving week), and the final performance on December 24 is a matinee only.
