What’s Cooking
Fire & Lightning Catering, led by Chef Thor and Pit Master James, is bringing the heat with a buffet full of New Orleans classics. You’ll find Cajun meat pies, chicken and sausage jambalaya, shrimp étouffée, red beans and rice, Pontchartrain pasta with Cajun cream sauce, braised greens with heirloom carrots, and caramel bourbon bread pudding.
Your meal starts with a Boscoli olive oil house salad, followed by Mardi Gras punch and other drinks throughout the evening.
Handmade for the Night
Mount Sequoyah’s Clay Studio Coordinator Jordan Meyers has hand-thrown each bowl and drink vessel for this celebration. No two pieces are alike. Variations in glaze, shape, and finish mean your dinner companions won’t have matching sets either.
You’re eating off functional art, then bringing it home to use again. Your salad arrives in the bowl you’ll take with you, and your drinks are served in the vessel that’s yours to keep.
Laissez les bons temps rouler on the mountain. Grab your tickets and get ready for a night where the table setting is as memorable as the meal.
