The holiday season in NWA starts with a mile run and ends with cocktails at Mount Sequoyah. The Tree Topper Run and Cocktail Party returns on November 13th, combining an evening run with holiday drinks, appetizers, and an exclusive first look at the Festival of Trees setup.

It’s a casual way to start the holiday season with a run, a drink, and good company.

What to Expect
The run starts at 5:30 PM as the sun sets over Mount Sequoyah’s wooded trails. It’s a casual mile, nothing too intense, just enough to work up an appetite before heading straight to Millar Lodge where Koon Saloon’s signature cocktails (or mocktails) and appetizers are waiting.

Koon Saloon is creating two custom holiday cocktails for the event, both more inventive than typical seasonal drinks. Appetizers will be served throughout the evening, and you’ll have first access to the silent auction before it opens to the general public during the Festival of Trees.

The party goes until 7:30 PM, so you’ll have time to browse auction items and see how Millar Lodge looks dressed up for winter.
Supporting the Festival
This event is sponsored by 1828 Capital and serves as the opening celebration for Mount Sequoyah’s annual Festival of Trees, a holiday series that supports the center’s mission and community programming. Your ticket helps fund the festival while giving you an exclusive first look at the seasonal setup.

Casual runners and cocktail lovers both have a place at the Tree Topper Run. Rally your friends and head to the mountain for the evening.
