Grab your coffee order and your favorite four-legged companion, because this morning meetup pairs espresso with adoptable pups looking for their people. Best Friends Animal Society brings a rotating cast of dogs out to mingle, and you’re invited to pet a few new friends while you sip your latte.

What to Expect

You’ll find a selection of adoptable dogs hanging out with their Best Friends handlers, each one hoping to find a forever home. Free pup cups are on hand for both the dogs and the humans, so nobody leaves empty-pawed. Keep your own dog leashed while you’re mingling, since that’s the rule for everyone’s comfort and safety.

Who’s Behind It

The dogs you meet are here thanks to Best Friends Animal Society, which has been working toward a no-kill country since 1984. You’ll be supporting an organization that runs lifesaving facilities in Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Salt Lake City, and right here in Northwest Arkansas, plus partnerships with more than 5,500 shelters and rescue groups nationwide.

A New Kind of Hangout Spot

If this meetup leaves you wanting more, you can find Best Friends’ Pet Resource Center in Northwest Arkansas, a facility built specifically to bring pet lovers and their community together. There you can meet more adoptable pets and tap into resources if you need a hand caring for your own pet. The center even has its own coffee shop.
