Kelly Corrigan and Jennifer Breheny Wallace on Making Meaning
At 10:30 a.m. on November 7, Corrigan and Breheny Wallace take the stage to dig into the stories and evidence-based research behind creativity and connection. Crystal Bridges frames the talk around our deepest needs: “to create, to belong and to know that our lives matter.” Tickets are $20, or $15 for members.

Silk, Shibori, and Tiny Wool Creatures
The ticketed workshops are where you leave with something you made yourself. Bea leads two of them.
- Journal Workshop – a kit built for craft newbies pairs the calm of stitching with a gentle nudge to put your thoughts on paper. November 7, 10 a.m. to noon, $25 ($20 members).
- Natural Dyeing Workshop – Bea shows you how to dye silk with indigo, Osage wood, madder root, marigolds, and onion skin. It works well for groups, so bring the friends you’d trust with your onion skins. November 7, 1 to 4 p.m., $65 ($55 members).
- Needle Felting Workshop – Bea again, this time with wool shaped into tiny creatures and landscapes. It’s built on restorative play and daydreaming, a safe little place for your brain to rest. November 8, 10 a.m. to noon, $25 ($20 members).
- Indigo Dyeing Workshop – shibori, the ancient Japanese resist dyeing technique, turns cotton bandanas into indigo keepers. Dye hard fans, this one’s yours. November 8, 1 to 4 p.m., $45 ($40 members).

The One Tough Call
Each event has its own ticket and time, so you can build whatever weekend suits you. There’s just one catch. The Journal Workshop and the Making Meaning talk both land on the morning of November 7, so pick your morning and plan the rest around it. Stitching or storytelling? Choose wisely.
