Two Days on the Arena Floor

If you’re in 8th grade, high school, or college, you’re eligible to attend. Day one and day two both run the same core lineup. You’ll rotate through technique stations, take a game day class, and work dance combos in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and pom. Between sessions, current team members and coaching staff sit down for a Q&A, and you’ll get a tour of the facilities with time set aside for photos.

The Perk for Full Weekend Dancers

Register for both days and you unlock something single-day dancers don’t get: an exclusive technique workshop with Head Coach Britney Hanson on day two.

A Shortcut to Spring Tryouts

If you’re a senior or a current college student, the coaching staff will be watching your performance across the weekend. Meet or exceed what the program is looking for, and you could earn an invitation straight to the spring tryout, skipping the video skills submission round entirely.

Pack Your Bag

Bring a dance top with fitted bottoms like leggings or shorts, hip hop attire, and dance shoes such as turners, jazz shoes, or hip hop shoes. Add a water bottle (refill stations will be on site), snacks to keep your energy up, and poms for the game day portions, though poms aren’t required. Registration includes a t-shirt, but if you show up as a walk-in, one isn’t guaranteed.

Know Before You Go

Cancellations made less than two weeks out, between July 11 and July 12, won’t be refunded unless you submit documented proof of injury or illness from a doctor or school to the coaching staff ahead of the weekend. Maps, parking details, and any required forms will land in your email the week of the event. Hotel stays and daily lunch are on you.

Consider this your invitation to see the program from the inside before committing to a full tryout. Spending a weekend on the Bud Walton Arena floor tells you more about whether this team is the right fit than a video submission ever could, and for seniors and current college dancers, it’s a direct line to the coaching staff’s attention.
